This notice covers the library website: the age check, accounts, cookies, and reports. It does not sell that data, and the site does not set advertising cookies.
What is stored
- Age cookie
age_ok. A signed mark that this browser passed, and an expiry. It does not contain your date of birth. It lasts 30 days, or until you sign out. It is strictly necessary so the library can stay closed to anyone who has not passed the check. - Account, if you register. Email, a password hash, the date of birth you entered, when you passed, and the method (self-declaration). Kept so a signed-in adult is not asked again, for as long as the account exists.
- Session cookie
session. Keeps you signed in for 30 days. Strictly necessary for the account. - Cookie choice
cookie_consent. Accept all, or necessary only. Kept for 6 months. Strictly necessary as the record of that choice. - Optional storage on this device, only if you accept. Theme, grid size, playback, watch progress, and anonymous favorites. It stays in this browser and is not sent as account data.
- Reports. The video, the reason, anything you write, your account id if you are signed in, and an email if you give one.
- Account library, if you use it. Favorites, likes, and watch history.
Why
The age restriction is a legal duty. The account data is what you give so the service can remember you. Optional browser storage waits for your consent. Reports are kept so illegal content can be acted on.
Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of the account and the age record, and you can complain to your data-protection authority. Signing out deletes the age cookie on this browser. The account record remains until it is deleted. The database is the operator's own.
Operator
A name, postal address, and email are not published yet. A library offered to the public in the EU needs them: who is responsible, and a point of contact for users and authorities. Set the environment variables SITE_OPERATOR and SITE_CONTACT before that launch.
This is the library's own notice. It is not a substitute for legal advice.
